Registration, Payment Gateway & Contest Evaluation

1. General Overview

By submitting a registration or entry fee for the Contest hosted by Sustainable India (a research initiative under the Sri Aurobindo Yoga and Knowledge Foundation), you ("Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, the official event guidelines, and the judgment criteria outlined herein.

2. Registration & Entry Fees

  • All entry and registration fees must be paid in full through the official payment gateway provided on this portal prior to the submission deadline.
  • Fees are quoted in INR (₹) or USD ($) as specified on the portal and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Participants must retain their transaction ID and official payment confirmation receipt for verification purposes.

3. Payment Security & Processing

  • All transactions are securely handled via our authorized PCI DSS compliant payment gateway provider using industry standard SSL encryption.
  • Sustainable India and Sri Aurobindo Yoga and Knowledge Foundation do not collect, store, or process sensitive banking details, CVVs, or payment passwords on our servers.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Non Refundable Policy: All contest registration and entry fees are strictly non refundable once successfully processed.
  • Exceptions for Duplicate Payments: If a technical error or system glitch results in duplicate charges for a single submission, the excess amount will be refunded upon verification. Participants must notify our team within 7 days of the transaction. Verified refunds will be processed back to the original payment source within 7 to 14 business days.

5. Contest Judgment Criteria & Evaluation Rules

A. Evaluation Framework

Submissions will be evaluated by an expert jury panel based on the following weighted criteria (Total: 100%):

25% Sustainability & Carbon Footprint Effective use of life cycle assessments (LCA), renewable energy integration, circular materials, and overall environmental impact reduction.
25% Innovation & Technological Integration Implementation of automation, 3D printing, smart building management systems, or advanced modular construction methodologies.
20% Climate Resilience & Passive Design Strategic response to micro climatic factors, passive thermal comfort, rainwater harvesting, renewable resources, and disaster preparedness.
15% Socio Economic Feasibility Scalability of the design, overall cost efficiency, financial viability, and adaptability to regional socio cultural demographics.
15% Aesthetics & Architectural Expression Creative merit, functional space optimization, spatial quality, and contextually grounded design syntax.

B. Judgment Terms & Finality

  • Jury Discretion: The jury panel comprises independent industry experts and academics. The decision of the jury is final, binding, and non negotiable.
  • Disqualification: Submissions containing plagiarized content, non original intellectual property, or incomplete documentation will be disqualified without a refund.
  • Evaluation Integrity: No correspondence, appeals, or requests for individual score breakdowns will be entertained once the winners are announced.
